Dr. Kim and Josie Pensinger were sent out from Maranatha Christian Church to the Dominican Republic just before Christmas 2005. By the summer of 2006, they had established Dominican Advance, Inc, a 501(c)(3) Non profit for the promotion of a brighter future for the Dominican people.

  • builds - Dominican Advance builds and operates accredited Christian schools for educating needy Dominican children, empowers entrepreneurs by providing them with training, equipment, and merchandise to start new businesses, and trains pastors and Christian leaders.
  • empowers - The Dominican Advance Nutrition Program helps feed school children a nutritious meal three times a week. They also host mission teams who work along side of their trained staff and make a valuable contribution to God’s work in the Dominican Republic.
  • trains - In August 2010, Dominican Advance plans to launch Destiny International, a missionary exploration and training center, for the study and advancement of God’s missionary heart to the world.
  • Dominican Advance is a ministry of Maranatha Ministerial Fellowship, International (MMFI) and on its Web site you can learn how you can provide a scholarship for a deserving Dominican child, a grant for a qualified entrepreneur, or discover other ways to help provide a brighter future for the people of the Dominican Republic.
